Clearwater Elixir would mainly benefit a deck that wants flexible, low-cost setup and can reliably make use of both the +3 power buff and the Bloodrot Pox token sacrifice, so it fits best in Runeblade or other token-generating/value-oriented decks that can turn the “destroy a Bloodrot Pox” clause into upside rather than a drawback; it is less appealing in pure aggressive decks that already have stronger, more efficient pumps, and in many cases cards like Enlightened Strike, Out for Blood, or generic pump/tempo options will be better because they either hit harder, provide more immediate value, or don’t require token synergy to be worthwhile. As a result, Clearwater Elixir is playable only as a niche support card in the right build, and generally should not see broad competitive play unless your deck specifically leverages Bloodrot Pox tokens and wants a cheap go-again enabler with a small life gain upside.
