About Corrupted Corpse

Corrupted Corpse, Necromancer action - ally, designed by None first released in Jul, 2026 in the set Usurp the Shadow Throne Pre-release Cards and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Corrupted Corpse is best in an aggressive Necromancer build that can reliably create it during the game and wants disposable attack pressure: its innate go again lets the deck continue chaining attacks, while Blood Debt is manageable in lists that expect to end games quickly or have ways to mitigate/convert the life loss. Because of Incarnate, it cannot be included in the starting deck, so its value depends entirely on whether your deck has efficient, repeatable ways to generate it; it is not competing for normal deck slots in the usual sense. Whether a different generated ally is better depends on the board state, but allies that either attack for more than Corrupted Corpse, provide immediate on-play value, or do not carry Blood Debt will generally be preferable in slower or defensive Necromancer strategies. Corrupted Corpse should see play only as a generated payoff in proactive, tempo-focused Necromancer decks—not as a reason by itself to choose the archetype.
