Esta carta, Desastre Inminente, sería más beneficiosa en un mazo rojo agresivo que apunta a aumentar rápidamente las tierras y perturbar la base de maná del oponente. Aunque puede ser una herramienta poderosa para debilitar a los oponentes con muchas tierras, puede que no sea la elección más eficiente ya que hay mejores cartas de destrucción de tierras como Armagedón o Estragos de la Guerra que tienen un impacto más inmediato.
