Hyper Driver can be a valuable addition to a Mechanologist deck that focuses on boosting cards frequently, as it provides a steady resource generation. However, its reliance on steam counters and the potential for self-destruction can be limiting. Other cards like Amplify the Arc Light or Overloop may offer more consistent benefits without the risk of being destroyed, making them potentially better choices depending on the specific strategy of the deck. Ultimately, Hyper Driver could see play in a deck that can effectively manage its steam counters and leverage its resource generation ability.
