Een kaartspel gericht op synergie van artefacten, zoals een artefactcontrole of een artefacthellingdek, zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Tezzeret the Schemer vanwege zijn vermogen om artefacttokens te genereren, wezens te pompen op basis van het aantal artefacten en uiteindelijk artefacten in wezens te veranderen. Hoewel er misschien betere planeswalkers zijn voor specifieke strategieën, kan Tezzeret een solide toevoeging zijn aan decks die artefacten willen gebruiken voor waarde en aanwezigheid op het bord, waardoor het de moeite waard is om te overwegen om in de juiste build te spelen.
