Clear Conscience, Illusionist action - attack, designed by None first released in september 2026 in the set GEM Pack 6.

Clear Conscience would mainly appeal to a defensive control or fatigue deck that can afford a low-immediate-impact attack and values cycling an unwanted card to the bottom of its deck, but it is awkward because the hit effect is symmetrical: your opponent also removes a card from hand and receives a Ponder token, while you must give up one of your own cards. In most normal Flesh and Blood decks, especially aggressive or tempo strategies, it is not worth playing because the effect does not create enough advantage and requires the attack to hit; `Command and Conquer` is generally better for disruption, offering a stronger attack and threatening both an arsenal card and another card from the opponent’s hand without helping them filter their deck. Unless a future card specifically rewards Ponder tokens or bottom-decking cards, Clear Conscience should probably not see competitive play.
