Flash Bolt would mainly fit into a Wizard deck that cares about playing multiple instants on the opponent’s turn—most notably Kano, Dracai of Aether—where its instant speed can help push arcane damage during a combo turn or pressure an opponent who is low on resources and arcane barrier. However, at 2 resources for only 2 arcane damage, its rate is inefficient compared to stronger options like **Zap** (1 cost for 3 arcane damage with Opt 1) or **Aether Flare** (1 cost for 3 arcane damage with upside), and even larger payoff cards like **Forked Lightning** provide better damage scaling.
