Expedition Map is a versatile card that can benefit decks focused on assembling specific land combinations or powerful utility lands. Decks that rely on specific lands for their strategy, such as Tron decks in Modern, can greatly benefit from Expedition Map's ability to tutor for key lands. While there may be better options for specific strategies, such as Sylvan Scrying or Ancient Stirrings in the case of Tron decks, Expedition Map can still see play in decks that require land tutoring or have synergies with sacrificing artifacts.
