Because it only prevents 2 damage and costs 2 resources (while not blocking from hand unless it has a defense value), it is generally inefficient compared to stronger defensive options like **Sink Below**, **Fate Foreseen**, or **Unmovable**, which either block for more, filter cards, or provide greater damage prevention relative to cost. Even equipment with Arcane Barrier or armor pieces often provide more value.
