Sharp Incline is best in a weapon-focused Warrior deck, especially Dorinthea, Kassai, or Hatchet-based builds that can repeatedly attack with swords and benefit from accumulating +1POWER counters; however, it is generally very narrow because it only buffs swords and needs the target to already have three counters before granting its resource discount. In most competitive Warrior lists, stronger options are cards such as Ironsong Response for efficient sword damage, Sharpen Steel for a more immediate and reliable weapon buff, and Spoils of War or other class-specific attack reactions depending on the hero and format. Sharp Incline can be playable in a casual or highly dedicated sword-counter strategy, particularly if you can consistently place counters beforehand and exploit multiple weapon swings, but it is usually not a staple and should only see play if your deck specifically needs additional zero-cost sword buff effects.
