Sharp ’n Shine (blue) is primarily for Warrior decks built around repeatedly attacking with a sword—especially Dorinthea decks using Dawnblade or similar sword-centric lists—because it is a free way to build permanent-for-the-turn weapon power and can eventually convert three counters into a Blade Dance token, rewarding turns where you can stack multiple sharpen effects; however, as a blue card it is more of a resource/pitch card with upside than a high-impact payoff, and most competitive sword decks will generally prefer stronger red weapon-buff cards such as Sharpen Steel for immediate damage, Ironsong Response for an efficient surprise sword boost, or Hit and Run when the extra attack action/go-again pattern matters, so Sharp ’n Shine is playable as a utility blue in dedicated sword lists that can reliably exploit Blade Dance, but it is unlikely to be a staple or worth slots in decks that do not consistently attack with swords.
