Flesh and Blood Partners with MTG's Professor in New Product

In a new partnership announced just this Thursday, July 6, Magic: The Gathering content creator, The Professor ("TolarianCollege/Community College" on social media), and Legend Story Studios, Flesh and Blood's original publisher and creator, have joined forces to deliver an exclusive set for the game. The set will count with a card modeled after The Professor himself, and includes new features for those Flesh and Blood fans who enjoy Magic: The Gathering's Commander format.

Though the official announcement says, "Details Coming Soon", some fans online have managed to get their hands on an official ad for the product on a game store pamphlet. The pamphlet mentions a standard price tag, release date, and has a brief description.

According to the ad, the release date is September 8th, 2023. The initial price looks fairly reasonable, only $69.90 for what is described as "four ready-to-play Blitz Decks, over 100 new cards, a 24" rubber playmat, and 1000-count storage box".

The card modeled after the professor is called "The Professor", accordingly, and it is a "high-tech Evo mech suit". Additionally, there will also be a Bard named Melody, a Guardian named Brevant, and the before-mentioned 4 ready-to-play Blitz decks.

Multiplayer formats aren't new to Flesh and Blood, considering there is an official multiplayer format called "Ultimate Pit Fight", which is played with 4 players and 60 card decks. And, of course, playing in your own kitchen table by your own rules has always been an option for casual players.
