Flesh and Blood's Calling: Las Vegas and the U.S. National Championship took place this weekend, from August 25th to 27th. The Calling had a US$20,000 prize pool, with Classic Constructed as the format. The U.S. National Flesh and Blood Championship had a US$50,00 prize pool, with Classic Constructed as the main format.

Though many Lexis saw play, with some unsurprising Dromais and Iyslanders, an unexpected grabbed the spotlight in the finals: Briar!

Calling: Las Vegas

The Calling: Las Vegas event span through two days, with almost 600 players competing on the first day.

On the first day, the metagame looked pretty varied, but with the usual Lexi dominance:

On day 2, 78 players were still standing fighting for a piece of the prize. Among the undefeated players, Jenson Wilhelm and Adrian Gebhart brought Lexi, whereas Reese Toomre brought Dromai. Lexi still converted a lot of results onto Day 2.
